We are always looking for talented individuals to come and work, or collaborate with us. We also have a wide range of volunteer and internship opportunities. We offer a wide and exciting range of jobs across the following departments; Arts Team, Participation & Projects, Development, Marketing, Administration & Finance.
We have a base in East London, and in normal times we work across the country to strengthen links between the arts and real societal change. During lockdown, we’ve moved to online delivery, and have made some really exciting discoveries about working with our Members in this manner.
We are always looking to have as diverse a range of applicants as possible. As befits our area of work, we guarantee interviews to candidates with experience or at risk of homelessness who meet the essential role criteria. We also guarantee interviews for candidates who meet the criteria and are from Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic backgrounds, or who are D/deaf or disabled.

CREATIVES

ACTORS
Cardboard Citizens hires actors via Casting Agents and through their workshops programme. Unless specifically advertised, all actors in Cardboard Citizens must have some experience of homelessness. This is considered in the widest possible sense of the word, from couch surfing, to staying in hostels through to rough sleeping.
