We’re delighted to announce the third round of our Citz Futures Traineeships programme.
During this cohort, trainees will get to work with the Cardboard Citizens staff team and experience the day-to-day workings of a busy arts organisation and charity and how the different roles feed into making the theatre company work as a whole.
The traineeships are aimed at people without significant work experience and with experience of homelessness, poverty and inequity.
Through paid part time roles, trainees will develop practical skills, knowledge, and networks within the theatre industry.
We are recruiting for three Trainees to work in three different areas of the organisation:
Producing – You will learn about the financial, strategic, and managerial aspects of theatrical productions
Marketing and Communications – You will learn about communication to different audience groups and raising the profile of the organisation
Executive Director – You will work with the Executive Director and the Executive Assistant and in collaboration with the Artistic Director to get a sense of how Cardboard Citizens is led as well as the vital relationships the charity holds with Arts Council England and other funders
