We are looking for a Facilitator and Coordinator to support a programme of work in Coventry – the latest of our Cardboard Camps projects that will be part of the celebrations of Coventry City of Culture 2021.

From April to December 2021, we are working in partnership with Coventry City of Culture, Belgrade Theatre and Underground Lights to deliver a creative programme of workshops, training and events, which brings together people with lived experience of homelessness, the arts and homelessness sectors, and theatregoers.

The Facilitator will lead a series of outreach workshops on behalf of Cardboard Citizens in
homelessness services in Coventry during June 2021. They will then work with a group of participants, and Cardboard Citizens’ Associate Director, to create a new piece of Forum Theatre to be performed at the Belgrade. We’re particularly looking for a facilitator with Theatre of the Oppressed experience, who has led creative projects with vulnerable groups.

The Coordinator will be local to Coventry, and will coordinate the successful delivery of the project, and the embedding of Cardboard Citizens’ work in Coventry during 2021. The role will involve building local relationships and partnerships across the arts and social sector, working closely with Coventry City of Culture 2021, The Belgrade Theatre, and Underground Lights.
