The Upsetters are an anti-racist theatre company that works to create new opportunities for people of colour to make, create and engage with theatre. They are working with us in a new partnership within the Citz Futures Traineeships programme.
They are seeking to recruit people of colour without significant prior work experience to take their first steps into the theatre industry with the aims of creating a more diverse and inclusive theatre industry and helping to nurture the next generation of theatre makers of colour.
As part of the associate roles, you will be working on production Dismissed by Daniel Rusteau which will be at Soho Theatre from 16 May to 3 June 2023.
You’ll also receive mentoring from theatre professionals, and pastoral care and signposting support from Cardboard Citizens.
There are five positions available for this associate opportunity:
Producing (x 1 place)
Stage Management (x1 place)
Directing (x1 Place)
Sound and Lightening design (x 2 places)
