Cardboard Citizens are taking part in the Homelessness Impact Festival on Friday 14 August 12-1.30pm.
The festival will look at the effect the events of 2020 have had on the homelessness community and asks what needs to happen to help build better systems and revolutionise the homelessness sector. It takes place from 13 July to 14 August and comprises of a series of online talks, workshops and discussions talking at a local, national and international level.
We will be presenting a work in progress based on our London on Lockdown workshops London on Lockdown: 1664-2020 project where we look at Daniel Defoe’s Journal of the Plague Year. The 30 minute scratch performance will be followed by a discussion with the performers and Q&A’s about the work of Cardboard Citizens.
