We are delighted to have received a grant of £70,000 from the government’s Here for Culture Fund.
We seek to challenge perceptions of homeless and ex homeless people and make theatre that activates changes. The fund will allow us to continue to build on our partnerships with the arts and social sector and really show the impact our work has, not only on people affected by homelessness, but on society as a whole.
This funding comes at a time when using theatre to work together and support communities is even more important than before. We will continue to develop the activity we have been created during lockdown. We will present digital episodes of the creative workshops we have been running, as well as continuing our community series to support our Members creatively and socially since March, with the purpose of reflecting their experiences during this year.
In addition we want to lay foundations for our work next year, applying our methodologies where it is most needed in London and across the UK as we move through and beyond the impact of COVID.
