We’re thrilled to announce four new trustees joining the Board of Cardboard Citizens: Alexandra Casson, Vicky Featherstone, Kiko Itasaka, and Anoushka Warden. They will be joined by two new Member Representatives – Barry Callaghan and Oriana White – elected by our Citz Members.
This marks an exciting chapter as we expand our artistic programme and national reach, bringing expertise in journalism, playwriting, theatre-making, digital strategy, and innovation to strengthen our mission: using storytelling to confront injustice and drive positive change for audiences, the arts sector, and society.
Anna Williams, Chair, and Lisa Briscoe, Executive Director & Joint CEO, welcomed the appointments.
Anna said: “The new Trustees bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to bolster Citz’s brilliant Board. I look forward to working alongside them to tell stories through great art, develop artists, and raise awareness of homelessness and extreme poverty.”
Lisa added: “This is a perfect moment to welcome fresh perspectives as we grow our influence and reach new audiences. With a strengthened Board and Member Representatives drawn from our community, we’re taking another step towards becoming a nationally influential theatre company where artistic excellence and social impact stand side by side.”
