Join us for a collision of history and theatre. Expect discussions on the morality of begging, the persecution of the poor, and a re-enactment of the Vagrancy Act of 1824.
There will be an online performance and panel discussion about the history of the Vagrancy Act and how it might soon be repealed, as part of a project directed by Adrian Jackson MBE and Prof Nick Crowson (History, University of Birmingham).
The panel includes: Hannah Slater, Crisis Campaigns Manager.
The event starts at 6pm, and will be broadcast on Zoom.
