This year we’re creating a community performance in response to our upcoming new musical, The Ruff Tuff Cream Puff Estate Agency, which is directed by Adrian Jackson and has book & lyrics by Sarah Woods.

Resistance Theatre is the community response to the national housing crisis, looking at the moments from the past, present, and reimagining the future. Directed by Terry O’Leary and written by Writers’ Circle Advanced group led by Lisa Ogun and dramaturged by Sarah Woods. As part of the story development for the piece, we are looking for 12 members to come and play. If this sounds of interested to you, please book your place by Wednesday 11th August at 6pm by clicking the ‘Book Now’ button to the right.

The week-long research and development workshops will take place at Brady Arts Centre from Monday 16th to Friday 20th August. Travel and lunch expenses will be provided for the sessions. Please note that you must be available for all dates but do not need to have previously participated in Resistance Theatre to sign up. Please do not sign up if you are part of the Writers’ Circle Advanced group. Contact Aliyah by email on Aliyah@cardboardcitizens.org.uk for more information or any support needs that we can support with to help you engage in the activity.
