About the project
We are excited to welcome back director and movement director Imogen Knight.
Building on the success of Citz Theatre Makers last year (Feb–March 2025), Imogen will guide the group in exploring how movement can tell stories and connect us to ourselves and each other. Through moving, playing, talking, and listening together, you’ll discover ways to feel more comfortable in your own skin, embody curiosity, and create a collective piece of work.
This project differs from the standard Citz Theatre Makers programme: it will be a research and development (R&D) space, where creatives can experiment, test ideas, and explore the potential of a new show without committing to a full production.

How to get involved
There are 15 spaces available on the project. Spaces are open to all Members, but priority will be given to those who took part in Citz Theatre Makers with Imogen Knight last year (Feb–March 2025), as this project builds on that previous work.
Register your interest by Wednesday 25 March by clicking the ‘Book Now’ button.
Important Information
We know some of you may be interested in Citz Theatre Makers in partnership with the Almeida Theatre and Movement & Performance R&D with Imogen Knight.
Since Members can’t take part in both, when you click the ‘Book Now’ button you will be asked to share your order of preference which we will take into account when making decisions. You only need to complete this form once.
As spaces are limited, we may not be able to offer everyone a place on either project. However, we will provide feedback on auditions for Citz Theatre Makers in partnership with the Almeida Theatre and highlight other opportunities coming up later this year.
