This April we’re kicking off a brand-new events programme exploring the themes of our work with the people who make it happen…
Citz Talks offer regular opportunities to get closer to our work and explore the ways in which art makes social change. You’ll hear from guest artists and creatives making theatre and art which is changing the conversation on social justice in this country, talking with our Artistic Director Chris Sonnex.
Whether you’re new to Cardboard Citizens or are already involved as a Citz Member, supporter of our work or a friend to the company, we’d love to see you there! Note that some talks in this series have been created for Citz Members only and will be clearly marked as such.
At our first Citz Talk (open to all), join us in person at Citz HQ in Whitechapel to meet the creative forces behind our upcoming production, Faun – writer Vinnie Heaven and director Debbie Hannan.
Faun explores the housing crisis affecting trans people in the UK and how sometimes home isn’t always easy to find. Compassionate, enlightening and peppered with quick-fire comedy, at the heart of Faun is a celebration of queer community – full of youth, heart, and panpipes…
Please note places are limited so do book early and contact mail@cardboardcitizens.org.uk if you can no longer attend or have any questions.
