Join us for the next in our series of Citz Talks. This time we’re holding an online event to meet our five newest trustees for an insight into their journeys and what brought them to Citz, becoming a trustee for an arts charity, and what art and social justice means to them. There will also be the opportunity to ask the trustees a question at the end of the talk.
In the last year, we were delighted to announce the appointment of five new Trustees to our Board, helping us to represent and speak to the diverse set of communities most affected by poverty and homelessness in this country.
These appointments mark a major step forward for Cardboard Citizens following the introduction last spring of our renewed programme and expanded mission, exploring poverty and inequity as the underlying causes of homelessness.
The new Trustees who are helping to steer Citz into its next chapter are creative producer and playwright Marcus Bernard, actress, award-winning voice artist and employment law solicitor Ayesha Casely-Hayford, actor and writer Charlie Josephine, social impact advisor and Director of Curator Community for Sofar Sounds, Ajeet Jugnauth, and accountant for Local Government, Chris Bull.
