Cardboard Collective is open to young people aged 16-25 who are interested in Whether you are a musician, beats maker, vocalist, or just want to try something new – this programme is for you.

The Cardboard Collective cohort will work towards creating a live event and developing original songs that they will perform over the summer in 2024.

The Programme – Term 2

The Collective Artists

Across a 12-week term the Collective Artists will work on developing their own songs from Term 1, building their performance skills, and getting ready for their solo, duet and group songs for a series of live events over  Summer 2024.

The Live Event Associates

Across a 10-week programme the Live Event Associates will work alongside the Collective Artists to support a series of live events over the summer 2024.

Our Associates will be developing skills around event management, digital marketing, budgets, collaboration and more.

All Sessions in Term 2 run weekly on Wednesdays, 6pm – 9pm at Cardboard Citizens HQ.

Meet the Artists:

Wolfie singer/songwriter fusing R&B and Soul influences together with vulnerable dark embellishments, weaving into clever lyricism and Wolfie’s unique tone.

Having garnered support from the likes of Pharrell Williams, Trevor Nelson, Charlie Sloth – to name a few; whilst also supporting The Internet on their UK sold-out tour alongside enigmatic performances in profound London venues and the UK’s Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

She’s been featured on The Fader, Noisey, Pigeons & Planes, Pop Justice amongst many others giving us further insight to her approach sonically whilst also showing us real depth to her character which is deeply infused with mystery, consciousness, and a rooted attachment to her rich Romani gypsy heritage.

Dan Tsu is a creative director, event producer, educator, and founder of underground movement Lyrix Organix (est. 2009). A multi-disciplinary facilitator and Lead Lecturer (BIMM London), Dan designs and delivers digital and physical youth education programmes across music, spoken word, social action, entrepreneurship, and event management for the likes of Roundhouse, British Council and Cardboard Citizens.

Dan is perhaps best known as co-founder of Glastonbury Festival’s legendary Rum Shack – working with the likes of Akala, Kojey Radical, Kae Tempest, ENNY and Mike Skinner. As director of Lyrix Organix, Dan is renowned for boundary-pushing physical and digital events that explore the intersection of live music, poetry and hip hop, to promote youth and social action. He has worked from Ukraine to Cuba, Ethiopia to Mexico, and has worked closely with the likes of Ed Sheeran.
