Cardboard Collective are launching their first album with a listening party at World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens. The event will be the first public sharing of new tracks created by these young artists, featuring some live performances and a Q&A with the Collective.
Cardboard Collective is our new youth music and events production programme, that champions unheard artists and supports young people 16-25 with lived experience of homelessness or poverty to access the music and creative industries. Now in its second term, the programme is led by resident artist Wolfie, working in partnership with NYJO, musician George Garford and young producers from SoundSkool Music College, guided by Aliyah Forde and Associate Harry Gay. Each Member of the Collective has collaborated with a young producer from SoundSkool to create, record and produce their own track.
The event starts from 6.30pm in the café at World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens with a chance to go behind the scenes and understand the creative process that has gone into making the album, while enjoying a non-alcoholic drink and snacks.
