Are you enthusiastic and passionate? Do you want a job that is both challenging and satisfying? Come and work for us as our new Programme Delivery Manager!
Over the next few years we are planning to have a larger public presence, by making more theatre and attracting more attention to the organisation’s impact on general audiences and its members of people with experience of homelessness. This role will enable the right candidate to help cement the organisation’s position as a pioneering theatre company working with and for socially excluded groups.
To be successful, you will be experienced in managing arts programmes and events, and working with socially excluded individuals and groups, preferably young people. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our dynamic, motivated, busy and fun team to build on and further establish Cardboard Citizens as a leading arts organisation working with and for people affected by homelessness.
The deadline for applications is Friday 12th August 2016 at 9am.
Recuitment for these roles comes at an exciting time for Cardboard Citizens. We are:
• Launching a landmark season of theatre to produce a series of short plays exploring the causes and effects of the national housing crisis.
• Touring a newly commissioned play to theatres, hostels, day centres and prisons, engaging homeless and non-homeless audiences, sparking debate, and earning Cardboard Citizens its reputation as the leading UK practitioner of Forum theatre.
• Developing and delivering residencies across the UK with arts and social sector partners, engaging homeless people, widening our reach.
If you think you may be suitable for this role or know someone who might be, please help us to spread the word! More details can be found on the recruitment page of the website.
