Cardboard Citizens is seeking a Producer for a 12-month fixed term contract.
The Producer will work as part of the arts team to realise creative ideas into achievable and deliverable opportunities. You will be responsible for producing and delivering a range of projects during the period including new productions, a new musical, and residencies engaging homeless and at-risk people.
The successful candidate will be able to show a proven track record in developing, planning and delivering theatre productions, musicals and tours. You will have knowledge of the UK arts sector, and demonstrate experience in building strong relationships with artistic collaborators, programmers and co-producers. We are looking for someone with an imaginative, enthusiastic, and inclusive approach, who is a strong team player, pays attention to detail and sees projects through from start to finish.
Position: Producer (including 3-month cover for the Executive Producer)
Accountable to: Executive Producer (Executive Director during Mar-May)
Responsible for: Arts team staff, Freelancers and volunteers.
Term: 12-month fixed-term permanent (full-time)
Place of work: From home while advised to do so, usually Cardboard Citizens, 77a Greenfield Road, London, E1 1EJ (with occasional travel)
Hours of work: 37.5 hours – flexible working negotiable
Salary: £32,000-36,000
