Cardboard Citizens to perform at Labour Party Conference

Cardboard Citizens will perform at the 2017 Labour Party Conference this September as part of the launch of the political party’s Labour Homelessness Network.

The Noise of the Oppressed

Members are invited to join Reynaldo Young once a week to experiment, improvise and compose music.

During each session, participates will listen to each other (listening always comes first!) to speak purely through the sounds that the group's musical instruments and musical bodies are making.

This dynamic programme invites you to work on these sounds to discover your own original voices and reclaim our own voices.

New Residencies documentary released

Cardboard Citizens is running a series of residency programmes across England, bringing Forum Theatre, performing arts and creative programmes to homeless, marginalised and disadvantaged groups.

To convey just how powerful these residencies can be, we've made a short documentary about the residency project we ran in Manchester with St Vincent's Housing Association and the Manchester and Blackburn & Darwen Foyers for homeless young people.
