For Cardboard Citizens Members:
A series of workshops led by Matthew Evans (from the theatre company Gameshow), exploring how we move as a group and as individuals. We will look at how our surroundings affect our movement, both in the studio and in our lives beyond the rehearsal room.
We all use body language to communicate - how can we use these instincts to tell a story, or change the environment, or create an atmosphere?
We can apply these skills to acting in simple improvisation exercises. We will experiment with changing what a character wants in a scene and see how this can change meaning on stage.
Tuesday 13 August 6:30 – 9pm
Thursday 15 August 6:30 – 9pm
Tuesday 20 August 6:30 – 9pm
Thursday 22 August 6:30 – 9pm
Please note, the sessions in August are following on from a series of workshops that took place in July. Places will be prioritised to those members who attended the July series. There will be a few limited places available, these are on a first come first serve basis.
